The guest of honor at Sunday brunch this morning: Ted Cruz, who’ll hit all five shows to plead his case before Super Tuesday. With conservatives in a five-alarm panic over the threat from Trump, the media will test him to see if he’s still willing to attack Rubio. Finishing third behind Rubio consistently across the south would leave him the odd man out in what will quickly be seen as a two-man race. Is he willing to hit Rubio hard to avert that or have we reached the point where unification on the right prevents that? Another thing: He’ll probably be asked if he stands by his pledge to support the GOP nominee, whoever that may be, in the general election. Does he?
Trump himself will be on “Face the Nation” and “Fox News Sunday” while his new apprentice, Chris Christie, will appear on “This Week” and “State of the Union,” where Jake Tapper will hopefully ask him just how much money Trump left on his dresser. The full line-up is at the AP.
