The only member of the peace-in-our-time nuke negotiating team that’s booked for a victory lap on the Sunday shows this morning is Ernest “Prince Valiant” Moniz on “Face the Nation”? That can’t be right. Kerry’s not slated to appear as I write this but it’s a cinch he’ll schedule something last-minute. The White House plans to spend the next three months going all out to convince the public, and by extension Congress, that the only alternative to the Iran deal is war. “It’s going to be the world’s best-funded, most relentless sales job that we’ve ever seen,” said one skeptical hawk to the NYT. That sales job starts this morning. They need a bigger fish than Moniz to get people’s attention.

I figured the rest of this morning’s shows would be devoted to the Indiana RFRA debate, which typically means plenty of gay-rights activists booked and not quite as many social conservatives. Nope. Likely due to the news coinciding with Easter, no fewer than three top Catholic clerics will be on to make the case for religious liberty. “This Week” has Archbishop Charles Chaput of Philadelphia, “Fox News Sunday” has Cardinal Donald Wuerl of D.C., and “Meet the Press” has New York’s Cardinal Timothy Dolan. Presumably the RFRA-bashing will be reserved for the panel discussions at the end of each show.

If none of that sounds good, Lindsey Graham will follow Moniz on “Face the Nation” to discuss the Grahamentum that’s going to sweep him to the White House in 2016. The full line-up is at the AP.
