It’s a snoozefest around the dial this Mother’s Day except on “Fox News Sunday,” which has both Trey Gowdy and Democrat Xavier Becerra booked to talk Benghazi. Becerra’s been encouraging House Democrats to drop the boycott idea and participate; it’ll be fun watching him try to make that argument while also toeing the party line that the committee’s an abomination that practically qualifies as an act of terrorism itself. Expect an exchange about the propriety of the parties fundraising off the committee’s activities too.

If you’re not up for that, NBC will be airing English soccer in lieu of “Meet the Press,” which probably isn’t good for David Gregory’s, er, “condition.” The full line-up is at Politico.
