Mohamed Hadid is a luxury real estate developer. His daughters are nepo baby models Bella and Gigi Hadid. It turns out the father and at least one of his daughters have a problem with Israel and the Jews.
Hadid, as it turns out, has spent months sending Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY) racist and homophobic messages on social media. The messages are rants against Israel. The New York Post obtained screenshots.
He was born in Nazareth and is a dual Jordanian-American citizen. He is reported to live in Beverly Hills. He has made cameo appearances on Bravo TV reality shows. He is 76 years old.
Rep. Torres is a progressive Democrat. He is unlike other progressive House Democrats because he is a steadfast supporter of Israel. He has been outspoken about his support since the October 7, 2023 massacres in Israel by Hamas.
Hadid's messages to Torres are disgusting. He spews forth at Torres on social media, on Instagram.
“You worse than the rats of New York sewage system. They have bigger brains than you. You might get a job as bouncer at gay bar,” Hadid, 75, told Torres in an Instagram direct message sent from his verified account — adding the Congressman was a “slave to whites.”
“Make sure you dress as KKK to hide that ugly gray colored face of yours,” the developer added. “I know about Bronx.”
“You are just unusual Black and colorful mouth for Israeli and AIPAC and looking for payday of over 500K,” Hadid saId in another message, referring to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, a pro-Israel lobbying group.
Torres is 36. In 2021 he became the first openly gay black member and the first openly gay Hispanic member of Congress.
After the October 7 massacres in Israel, Hadid compared Israelis to Nazis. He has called President Biden a "Zionist criminal" on Instagram who would be hunted down like the Nazis.
His daughters are also outspoken in their anti-Israel rhetoric. Bella marched during protests. Bella posted about “the generational trauma of my Palestinian blood.” Gigi has been critical of Israel on social media. The Israeli government has condemned her posts
Torres refuses to be intimidated.
When Hadid's posts were exposed by the New York Post, he issued a post that was a non-apology apology.

Real estate developer Mohamed Hadid has issued this statement apologizing for his direct messages to Congressman @RitchieTorres.
The NY Post reported earlier today that Hadid sent racist and homophobic direct messages to Congressman Torres.

He turned a post that should have been an apology into more of the same ugliness that he seems consumed with.
Torres responded.
“Whether it is dehumanizing me as worse than the rats of the NYC sewage system or telling me to dress like the KKK to ‘hide that gray colored face of yours,’” Mr. Hadid has hurled just about every racist insult at me shorting of calling me the N-word,” Torres said.
“That Mr. Hadid felt so at ease demonizing and dehumanizing a black Member of Congress reveals a tragic truth about our politics: if you are a person of color and pro-Israel, you are fair game for racist invective.”
Would Hadid have issued this angry apology if his posts had not been exposed? I don't think so. He sounds filled with hatred and that is hard to overcome. It just added fuel to the fire. Believe the haters when they tell you who they are.
